THE HOME

The apartment is located in a fabulous 1930s Grade II Listed Art Deco private estate, in the vibrant and diverse Herne Hill. It's a stylish and cosy three-bedroom home with two rooms available to guests, located on the second floor of the building with elevator access.

The home features a spacious entrance entrance hall with storage for winter jackets and shoes with guest bedroom one and the shared bathroom located straight ahead. To the left is the open plan dining and living space featuring comfortable sofa, TV, DJ decks, small dining area fully equipped kitchen including all the modern amenities. The guest bedroom two is located next to the living area on the street facing side of the building, with the balcony in front of the guest window. The host’s bedroom is next to guest bedroom two. It is n the opposite side of the spacious entrance hall, down a hallway assuring privacy between guest bedroom one.

The bathroom is located next to the guest bedroom and is spacious and bright with beautiful tiling throughout.

The home is fabulously decorated with great art, plants in each room and fine attention to detail paid throughout the entire home.

The home is located on a main road so some street noise can be heard however the guest bedroom faces the side of the building, not the main road so is quieter than the living spaces.

THE ROOMS

Bedroom 1

This guest room is very spacious and bedroom beautifully decorated with a mix of mid century and modern furnishings, fitted with a double platform bed with a new comfortable mattress, wall fitted unfolding desk, a clothing rail and a handsome chest of drawers. It's been styled throughout with soft furnishings from the vintage market that give this sunny room a very nice, authentic feel. The room gets great sunlight throughout the day and faces the side of the home making it a relaxing, peaceful room.

Bedroom 2

This guest room is comfortable bedroom beautifully decorated with a mix of mid century and modern furnishings, fitted with a double bed with a new comfortable mattres. There is a small desk and stool. full length mirror and chest of drawers for your clothing. It's been styled throughout with soft furnishings from the vintage market that give this sunny room a very nice, authentic feel. The room has great large windows, with the balcony out the front of the bedroom. Please note that this room faces the front of the home and therefore can be more noisy with street traffic.



THE AREA

The area of Herne Hill is a tiny neighbourhood between Dulwich, Camberwell and Brixton. This South East London pocket is a haven filled with independent shops, restaurants, bars and art galleries. The area is also home to the huge Brockwell Park and Ruskin Park both having incredible views of central London as well as the popular Sunday market.

There is a small set of shops across the road from the home that includes an organic supermarket, pharmacy, post office, off licence and dry cleaners.

There are multiple great parks in the area to walk around or picnic in in the warmer months.

There is a bus stop located across the road which is a short ride to Denmark Hill on the Overground or Herne Hill station on the national rail line. It is less than a 15 minute walk from each station from the home. There is quick connections to Victoria (10mins from Herne Hill Station), London Luton Airport, St Pancras International, Farringdon, Brixton on one side and Dalston and Shoreditch from Denmark Hill.
